Assessment Tests for single participants

Our Sector offers the following tests to students who are enrolled for a unige course:

Level test: candidates pass the test if they reach a minimum threshold of 60%.

English B1 (only available to freshers within Progetto Inglese)

English B2 TESTS

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

- These tests do no replace core subjects.

- We do not accept bookings by students who did not write the reason for taking the test in the notes.

-The B2 tests for students belonging to the Polytechnic, Medicine and students enrolled in Informatica (bachelor's degree), Chimica e tecnologie chimiche and Computer science (Master's degree) are organized by the Departments.

2025/2026 and 2026/2027 tests

Next English B2 tests for a.y 2025/2026 and 2026/2027:

  • 9th September 2026 (bookings open on 14th August and close on 4th September at 9 AM)
  • 2nd December 2026 (bookings open on 13th November and close on 27th November at 9 AM)
  • 17th February 2027  (bookings open on 1st February and close on 13th February at 9 AM)
  • 17th March 2027  (bookings open on 1st March and close on 12th March at 9 AM)
  • 7th July 2027  (bookings open on 21 giugno and close on 2 July at 9 AM)
  • 8th September 2027  (bookings open on 23  agosto and close on 3rd September at 9 AM) THIS DATE MAY CHANGE
  • 1st December 2027  (bookings open on 8th November and close on 26th November at 9 AM)

The test starts at 11 AM and will be held either in aula CLAT or in aula Informatica @ Albergo dei Poveri or Polo didattico delle Fontane; the test will be taken on Aulaweb. Please bring your headphones/earphones (those for i-Phone do not work on our PCs). More details will be sent to the candidates via e-mail.

Bookings close on the Friday before the test at 9 AM.

No more than 20 candidates will be accepted.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: if you are taking a B2 test to access a post-graduate degree course, make sure it is accepted by the university in which you intend to enrol.

Exceptions - Scuola Politecnica, Medicina and Odontoiatria and SMFN 

Students enrolled in the Scuola Politecnica  courses who need a B2 level of English to access a post-graduage degree course at the Scuola Politecnica (both Engineering and Architecture courses) must book a test here.

Students attending the Medicina e Odontoiatria courses cannot take this test but must write to the Department or the lecturer in charge of English at their department, as explained in the current prospectus.

Results a.y.  2024/2025 and 2025/2026

Our Office will send candidates the results of the tests via email or publish them on this webpage and, upon request, it will issue a certificate valid within our University and for periods abroad in the framework of the Programmes our University takes part in (eg. Erasmus+, CINDA, Cooperation Agreements, etc.). 

Certificates

In order to receive the certificate, send an email to clat[at]unige.it stating your Name, Surname, student number, date of the test. The Office will open a payment cart for you to pay the 16-Euro stamp.
