MESSAGE FOR PROFESSOR FRANCESCA MURA'S LCM1 Lettorato Group D 2025-26

As I think you know, Professor Mura only does lettorati in the first semester, so if you need or want to have language lessons in the second semester (February-May 2026) you can have them with me. You should register on my first year Group C Lettorato Aulaweb 2025-26. Professor Mura has already sent you the link, and you can find the same link by scrolling further down this page. It is important that you register on this Aulaweb - it will enable me to send you messages with information through the forum annunci. 

 

ATTENTION! For the moment I cannot use my office, so until further notice I shall do my ricevimenti / office hours in Professor Villa's office, Palazzo Serra, third floor (opposite Professor Santini's office, in the same corridor as the offices of various German professors...) 

RICEVIMENTO / OFFICE HOURS

During the summer exam period, I shall not be able to have a regular fixed ricevimento time, it will vary from week to week, so you will have to check... My next a distanza ricevimento time will be TUESDAY (martedì) 23rd June 17.00-18.00, using my Team called Ricevimento Jones, so if you want to talk to me, you need to register on that Team*. 

My next in presenza ricevimento, in Professor Villa's office, Third Floor, Palazzo Serra, Piazza Santa Sabina 2 (my own office is inagibile), will be: THURSDAY 25th June 15.00-16.00 (quindici-sedici)

RICEVIMENTO / OFFICE HOURS

I do office hours in presenza, in my (PROF VILLA'S) office, Palazzo Serra, Santa Sabina 2, and a distanza, using the Team called Ricevimento Jones - you need to click on the a link and make a request to join, then I add you to the Team. So you need to make the request before the ricevimento, not during it!  *Here is the link:

*How to reach my office: take the main entrance in the Palazzo Serra courtyard - the one facing you, not the one on the left-hand side - go up two fligths of stairs and, on the main landing, you'll see aula 1 in front you with a glass-panelled door, look to your right and you'll see a tiny corridor, take the narrow staircase on the left and the Studio Lettori di inglese is there. If the brown door is closed, please wait for me. *I REPEAT, at the moment my office is inagibile, so I am doing my ricevimenti in Professor Villa's office! 

7/8/2025- Regarding Third Year Lettorato Jones/Grimes/Nicolini 2025-26

Third Year English lettorato is made up of three components: Writing (Jones), Listening (Jones), Reading Comprehension/Use of English (Grimes Sean/Nicolini Elga). This year (2025-26), as usual, third year students are divided into two groups according to their surname:A-K and L-Z. So, there will be two Writing lessons, one for A-K (Jones), the other for L-Z (Jones) , two Listening lessons, one for A-K (Jones), the other for L-Z (Jones), and two Reading Comprehension/Use of English lessons, one for A-K (Grimes Sean), the other for L-Z (Nicolini Elga). For details of at what times these lessons will take place, please consult Jones’s, Grimes's and Nicolini's webpages (Info will arrive if it is not there yet!). Information about Lingua Inglese III 65217 (of which lettorati are a part) is or will also be available on Professoressa Zurru's (titolare Frazionamento A, studenti A-K) and Santini's (titolare Frazionamento B, studenti L-Z) pages and their Unige page.
